We have arrested a man on suspicion of arson following a fire at a derelict house in Eastleigh on Saturday 15 August.
We were called at 1.46am to reports of a fire at a premises on Stoneham Lane. Officers attended the location alongside our colleagues from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
We later determined the cause of the fire to be suspicious and arrested a 27-year-old man from Eastleigh on suspicion of arson.
He remains in police custody at this time.
No one has been reported as injured.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses.
