Officers investigating reports of an assault at a property in Eastleigh, have arrested a woman.
The incident happened at 7.30pm on Friday 7 August at an address on Leigh Road.
Officers on-scene did not find any evidence that an assault had taken place, but did arrest a woman on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs. During the arrest, the woman spat in an officers face.
A 45-year-old woman from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency services worker and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday 1 October.
No further action was taken in relation to the drug charges.
