We have charged a man with robbery following an incident at Central Convenience Stores on Botley Road on Friday 27 December.
It was reported a man entered the store carrying a knife and demanded staff hand over cash and cigarettes just before 2.20pm.
Ben Timothy Darren Sharpe, aged 20, of Hunts Pond Road, Park Gate has been charged with robbery and threaten a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
He will appear before Southampton Magistrates today (December 30).
