Detectives have charged a man as part of an investigation into a serious assault in Lymington.
Officers were called to Lower Buckland Road shortly after 3.30am on Thursday 31 October.
A 30-year-old man from Milford-on-Sea was found with serious injuries.
Martin Williamson, 45, of Lymington Road, Brockenhurst, has been charged with wounding with intent.
He appeared Southampton Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 24 December) and has been remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 24 January, 2020.
