A 50 year old man has been charged with attempted theft from a motor vehicle, going equipped for theft, common assault and theft of a pedal cycle, following his arrest in Basingstoke.
Paul Cooper, of St Peter’s Road, Basingstoke, was charged with the offences after he was arrested in Privett Close, Lychpit, shortly after 5am on August 18.
He has been bailed to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court on September 3.
