Appeal following series of criminal damage incidents in Hart & Rushmoor
Main article content
We are appealing for witnesses and information after a series of incidents in which ball bearing pellets have been used to cause damage to windows and cars across Hart and Rushmoor.
The affected areas include North Warnborough, Well, Crondall, Tunworth, Upton Grey, Cliddesden, Fleet, Hartley Wintney and Farnborough.
The incidents occurred between October 25 and November 8 at differing times of the day and night.
Hart District Neighbourhood Sergeant Noel Griffiths said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries in relation to these incidents but we would appeal to anyone who has seen anything suspicious or who knows who is responsible for these reckless acts, to get in touch.
“Luckily no-one has been seriously harmed but it goes without saying that this is incredibly foolish and reckless behaviour and we need to catch those responsible as soon as possible.”
Police are investigating the incidents but would ask if anyone has any information to please come forward.
In particular, we would be interested to hear from anyone who may have captured CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage on the below dates and locations:
- West Heath Road, Farnborough between October 25 and 26
- Hackwood Road, Cliddesden on November 2
- The Street, North Warnborough on November 2
- High Street, Hartley Wintney between November 6 and 7
- Well Road, Crondall between November 6 and 7
