We are appealing for witnesses and information following reported non-dwelling burglaries in the West End area.
Between 1am and 4am on Saturday 1 March, it’s reported that a garage and shed were broken into on Coopers Close and Barnsland.
Items, including a bicycle, power tools and golf clubs were all reported stolen.
Attempts were also made to gain entry to a shed and garage on Chalk Hill and Clifton Gardens.
Officers are investigating the incidents and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. We’ll be sure to keep you all updated on any developments, where possible.
In the meantime, we would like to hear from anyone with any information which may assist us in our investigation.
Did you see or hear anything of any of these incidents? Do you have any footage, including doorbell camera, mobile phone, dash cam, or any other CCTV?
Also, if you experienced similar, and are still yet to report this to us, please call 101 to do so at the earliest opportunity.

Below is a useful link to important advice and tips on how to better secure outbuildings.
We often don’t secure our sheds and garages in the same we do our homes - often using an easy-to-break lock or padlock to protect valuable contents such as a car, bike or lawnmower.
An opportunistic burglar will often try a shed or garage first because they can get easier access to expensive items, as well as find the tools they need to break into a residential property.
In short, lock it, alarm it, hide it and mark it.
