Police appeal for witnesses following Brockenhurst collision

We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Brockenhurst.

At around 12.40pm on Monday (20 January) a collision occurred involving a pedestrian and a black Volkswagen Golf on Lyndhurst Road, next to Brockenhurst College.

The pedestrian, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries to his pelvis, elbow, arm and collarbone. He remains in hospital in a stable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at the current time.

Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision are now appealing for the public’s assistance.

Were you on Lyndhurst Road on Monday afternoon at around 12.40pm? Did you see the collision, the moments leading up to it, or the aftermath? Did you see a black Volkswagen Golf with the registration plate ending DLD in the area? Do you have dash cam that captured footage that may assist our enquiries?

The driver of the vehicle involved is assisting us with our enquiries, and no arrests have been made at the current time.
