Do you know this man?
We would like to speak to him in connection with a dog bite incident in Newport.
Between 4pm and 4.30pm on 7 February, a dog walker was using the public footpath in Shide, between National Tyres and Matalan, when he was approached by another dog which bit him on the leg.
This left the victim with a laceration to his left leg, and despite efforts by the victim to call the owner of the other dog over, the owner did not stop to speak to him.
The dog was described as possibly being a Rottweiler or similar breed.
If you know the man pictured, or have any information to assist our enquiries, please contact police on 101 quoting 44250058640. You can also submit information to us online here: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
