Appeal for witnesses and information following serious road traffic collision in Portsmouth

Officers investigating a serious road traffic collision on London Road, Portsmouth are appealing for witnesses and information.

We were called at approximately 2pm yesterday (Saturday 1 February) to a report of a two-vehicle collision, near to the junction with Hewett Road.

It’s reported that a black Audi A1 was in collision with a green Toyota Aygo.

One of the occupants of the Toyota, a woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with serious, potentially life-changing injuries.

We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed anything of the collision, or anyone who has any dash cam footage of the incident.
