The family of a man who died after a collision last month in Southampton have today paid tribute to him.
Officers attended the incident on the Itchen Bridge, involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian, around 7.15pm on Wednesday 25 September.
Sadly, the pedestrian, Lee Michael Anderson, of Wadhurst Gardens, Southampton, died four days later in hospital, having been taken there for treatment.
Today, the 51-year-old's family have paid tribute to him.
They said: "Lee was a loving brother and unique person, who was taken from us far too soon.
"He would always put others before himself and really liked to help out, especially within the community where he lived.
"To his family he is a real Superhero, as he was an organ donor, and many people are now alive because of his loving kindness."
Our investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision is ongoing, and officers remain keen to speak to anyone who can assist.
