We’re investigating two burglaries which took place at shops in Locks Heath and Gosport in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 9 October).
Police were called at 12.34am to the first incident which occurred at the Morrison’s Daily on Centre Way, Locks Heath. Entry was forced into the shop, however it is not believed at this time that anything was stolen.
The second incident happened at around 1.20am at the ASDA store in Dock Road, Gosport.
It was reported that 3 people dressed in black and wearing masks gained entry to the shop, where an estimated £13,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen.
The men then ran off through the car park and in the direction of Willis Road.
Enquiries remain ongoing into both of these incidents, and we would encourage anyone with information to contact police on 101, quoting the following reference numbers:
- 44240438185 for Locks Heath.
- 44240438161 for Gosport.
