We are appealing for witnesses following a report of attempt robbery in Dowd’s Farm Park, Hedge End at approximately 3.45pm yesterday (Sunday 6 October).
During the incident, the victim – aged in his teens - was walking with a friend when he was approached by three other boys, all aged approximately 17-years-old.
One of the boys pushed the victim and demanded that he hand over his mobile phone and hooded top. The victim was able to run off before any items were taken.
Two of the three boys were described as wearing balaclavas, covering their whole face, while the other was said to be wearing a snood-style scarf, covering half of the face.
All three boys were seen wearing Nike tracksuits, two of which were grey and one of which was blue.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may assist in the investigation.
Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Do you recall seeing three boys matching the above descriptions, or anything else suspicious at the specified time? Do you have any footage of the incident itself, including mobile phone or CCTV?
