Appeal after serious collision in Hawley

Officers are appealing for information following a collision in Hawley.

The collision occurred at 12.40pm on Thursday, 7 November at the junction of Hawley Road and Vicarage Road and involved a red Yamaha motorcycle and a Ford Transit.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries.

Were you in the area at the time of the collision? Did you see what happened or do you have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle which may have recorded footage of the incident?

We’d specifically like to speak to the driver or passengers of a white Tesla 3 that was in the area at the time of the collision. It is possible that the occupants of this vehicle have information that could assist our investigation.

A 31-year-old man from Farnborough has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless and inconsiderate driving, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the limit. He has been released under investigation.
