Appeal following serious collision in Southampton

We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Southampton.

Police were called at 1pm on Tuesday 5 March to a collision on Acacia Road, at the junction with Cypress Avenue.

This involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and an orange Lexmoto motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man from Southampton, suffered a life-changing but not life-threatening injury.

Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.

We would like to speak to anyone in the area with relevant CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage, as well as any witnesses to the collision or the moments leading up to it.
