We are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Basingstoke.
Between 8pm and 9pm on Friday 17 May, a man in his 30s was assaulted outside the Oak Pub in Oakridge.
It was reported that the victim was in his van when another man smashed his window before assaulting him. He suffered facial injuries, including a broken cheekbone.
Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and made an arrest on Wednesday 5 June.
A 34-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
