We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following reports of dangerous driving on the M3 by a group of motorcyclists.
Between 5.45pm and 6pm on 25 June, we received reports that a group of five motorcyclists were swerving between lanes at speed and doing wheelies on the southbound carriageway of the M3 between junction 3 and Winchester services.
It was also reported the group had stopped traffic in the road works between junctions 3 and 4 as they performed doughnuts in the carriageway.
Officers located four of the group at Winchester services and three men and a woman were handed fixed penalty notices for number plate offences.
One of the motorcycles, a silver Yamaha, was seized by officers as it had no tax or MOT.
We have spoken to several witnesses but we are appealing for anyone with relevant dash cam footage of any of these incidents to please come forward.
If you have any information or relevant dash cam footage, please call 101 quoting reference number 44240267977.
