Officers are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in the city centre.
At around 12.30am today, 11 July, the victim was at his address on Great Minster Street when two unknown men entered his property.
It is believed they entered via Little Minster Street.
The victim disturbed the suspects who then left the address without stealing anything.
They are described as:
• A white man in a beige gilet
• A white man in a black tracksuit
As part of our enquiries two men from Winchester, aged 42 and 49-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They remain in custody at this time.
Were you in the area at this time? Perhaps you remember seeing two men matching these descriptions? Or maybe you have dashcam or doorbell footage that could assist?
