A tribute has been paid to an 'amazing daddy' who died in a collision in Kings Worthy.
Police were called at about 10.30pm on Friday 19 July to a report of a collision at the junction of London Road and Church Lane.
This involved a black Keeway motorcycle and a white Ford Ranger.
The motorcyclist, 27-year-old Ryan Brown from Winchester, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
His family are being supported by specialist officers and have now paid the following tribute to him:
"Ryan was an amazing daddy to six children, he was always full of jokes and laughter.
"Ryan was a loving and supportive partner and a real credit to society. He will be missed by everyone who had the joy of meeting him. He will forever live on in our hearts."
"Ryan was also a loving son and an amazing brother, the best anyone could hope for. He always thought of others before himself.
"Words cannot explain how much we all love him, he will truly be missed by all the people that had great pleasure to have spent time with him.”
This incident is still under investigation and we would like to speak to any witnesses to the collision itself or to the movements of either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision who have not already contacted us.
We would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
