We are appealing for witnesses to an assault on Exbury Road, Blackfield on Wednesday 3 July.
The incident, which occurred between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, left the victim with a dog bite to her face, resulting in a wound above an eye.
The victim required subsequent hospital treatment as a result of the injuries caused.
We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area of Dark Water Car Park, Exbury Road and Blackfield Cemetery at the time of the incident.

Did you spot a man, aged in his 70s and wearing glasses, in the area at the time, walking two Rhodesian Ridgeback-type dogs? Do you know who this man is?
