We were called at 7.38pm today (21 July) to a report of a serious assault in Eastleigh.
A man in his 20s was stabbed at a residential address on Twyford Road.
He suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital.
A 41-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm with intent.
A 47-year-old man from Eastleigh has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Both remain in custody.
This is believed to be an isolated incident with no wider concerns for the public.
