We are appealing for information following a report of robbery in Fair Oak on Friday 5 January.
The incident occurred between 6.40pm and 6.48pm in an alleyway between Witt Road and Campbell Way.
An 11-year-old boy was with friends when he was approached by two teenage boys, both wearing black balaclavas.
One of the teenage boys grabbed hold of the victim’s electric scooter and ordered him to hand it over. When the victim refused, he was then punched in the chest, and the scooter was forcibly taken from him.
The suspect then rode off on the e-scooter, along with the second teenage boy, who also had an e-scooter with him, turning right onto Witt Road and heading towards Winchester Road.
The suspect is described as;
- Aged approximately 14-16 years
- 6ft 0ins tall
- Lanky build
- Wearing a grey Nike tracksuit, black balaclava, black and grey Nike fleece, light grey zip-up top with a hood, and grey and black jogging bottoms.
- Deep voice
The stolen Pure e-scooter, pictured, is black and has scratches on it. The light is also snapped off.
Police continue to investigate this incident and enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
