Witness appeal after theft from Havant convenience store

We received reports that on Wednesday 24 January, just after 6:00pm, a teenage boy entered the Parade Mart convenience store on Market Parade and put items in his pockets. He then pushed an employee, causing him to fall and hit his head, before running off in the direction of Havant train station.

The employee suffered no serious injuries during the incident.

The teenage boy has been described as follows:

• White
• Approximately 5ft tall
• Slim build
• Wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, dark coloured trainers, black gloves and a grey and navy coat (the body of coat being grey with a hood and the sleeves being navy)

We are aware of several members of the public passing the shop when the incident occurred.
