We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in Southampton.
Officers attended a report of a collision between two cars on Woodmill Lane at around 6.50am on Friday 9 February.
This involved a grey Volkswagen Golf and a red Mazda 3.
The driver of the Golf, a 31-year-old man from Trowbridge, suffered a serious injury.
The driver of the Mazda, a 35-year-old man from Southampton, suffered minor injuries.
A four-year-old boy from Southampton, who was a passenger in the Mazda, suffered a potentially life-changing injury and is being treated in hospital.
Following an initial investigation, we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
We would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam footage of the incident or the moments just before the collision occurred.
