We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Winchester.
Police were called following reports of a collision at about 5.45pm on Sunday 8 December.
This occurred at the junction of Worthy Road and Russell Road, and involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.
A 23-year-old woman from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. She remains in custody.
We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision, particularly anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage.
