Officers investigating the death of a man on Station Road, Netley have launched a murder investigation.
We were called to a report of an injured man at the location at 6.26pm today (Wednesday 18 December).
On arrival, officers located a man with a stab wound. Despite the best efforts of officers and paramedics, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
We are not currently in a position to confirm the identity of the deceased at this time.
We would like to hear from anyone who was in the Station Road area at the time of the incident.
