Officers investigating an aggravated burglary in Chandler’s Ford are appealing for witnesses and information.
The incident, which was reported to us shortly after 1.30pm on Friday 29 November, occurred at a coin dealership on Avonborne Way.
During the incident, which we are treating as targeted, it’s reported that high-value coins and cash were stolen from the property.
We are looking to speak to six men in connection with the incident.
They were seen driving away from the scene in a silver BMW, displaying registration plate number – AF65 UHB.
We’d like to hear from anyone who recalls seeing a vehicle matching that description in the area at the time of the incident, or at any other point on Friday.
Additionally, we’d like to hear from anyone who has since seen an abandoned or parked-up vehicle matching that description in the Chandler’s Ford area. It may no longer have number plates.
Please also get in touch with us if, following the incident, you saw six people exiting the vehicle in question and getting into another vehicle or vehicles in the Chandler’s Ford area.
We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any men acting suspiciously together in the area of Ramalley Copse or North Millers Dale at any point in the hours before, during or after the burglary.
The men are described as being aged between 20 and 50 years, wearing large coats, thick gloves, beanie hats and scarves covering their lower faces.
If you can help us with any of the above, please call 101, or report online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240520501.
