We are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in Ryde yesterday morning (December 11).
Police were called to the Esplanade just before 11am, after a collision involving a blue Mercedes Vaneo and a bicycle.
The cyclist, a man in his 70s from Ryde, has been taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
An investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision is underway.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident, in particular anyone with dash cam footage.
