Officers investigating a report of sexual assault in Farnborough would like to speak to three potential witnesses who may have vital information.
It was reported that at 5.30pm on Sunday 18 August, a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a boy in an alleyway between Stubbs Moor Road and Fernhill Road.
The girl was inappropriately touched over her clothing. During the incident, three people, believed to be teenagers, appeared from the Fernhill Road side and the boy fled the scene. The teenagers supported the girl after the incident.
Officers launched an investigation and a 16-year-old boy from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female. He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
The girl and her family are being supported by officers.
We would like to hear from any potential witnesses, specifically the three people who may have seen what happened. Were you there? Officers are really keen to hear from you as your account may help with our enquiries.
