We are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of an assault in Farnborough.
Officers received reports that an altercation took place inside Tesco Express on Cove Road at around 12pm on Sunday 11 August.
It was reported that a man in his 30s had glass bottles thrown at him after he left the store.
The man was also grabbed and suffered a minor injury to his arm.
We launched an investigation and arrested a 49-year-old man from Farnborough on suspicion of common assault. He has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
Officers are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to hear from any witnesses who may have seen what happened.
It is believed a number of people fled the store at the time, so officers would like to hear from them.
Were you in the shop? Did you witness the incident?
