We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Basingstoke.
At around 9.35pm on Monday 12 August, a man in his 30s was assaulted outside the Londis store on Alencon Link.
He was punched several times and was taken to Southampton General Hospital to receive treatment for a broken jaw and laceration to the head.
As part of our enquiries, a 43-year-old man from Fleet has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in custody.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident. Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the incident?
