Do you recognise this man?
Officers investigating an assault on Above Bar Street in Southampton would like to speak to man in connection with the incident as part of their ongoing enquiries.
It is alleged that in the early hours of Sunday 14 July – at around 04:20am – that an unknown man has assaulted another man outside Café Parfait by picking up a glass bottle and throwing it towards the victims’ head.
The victim – a man in his 20s – suffered a large laceration that required hospital treatment.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries in the local area but are now turning to the public for assistance. We have today (13 August) released the image of someone we believe may be able to assist us in our investigation.
