We are appealing for information following an assault reported to us in Southampton city centre on Thursday evening (August 22).
We were called at 7.30pm to a report that a group of teenagers were assaulting a male on East Street. The group were seen to kick and punch the victim.
Police attended and spoke to a number of people in the area at the time, however the victim was not located.
As part of our ongoing enquiries we are asking for the victim of this assault to come forward and speak to us, so that we can make sure they are ok and getting any support that they may need.
We are also keen to hear from anyone else in the area at the time who saw what happened, or has any information that may assist our investigation.
Anyone with any information is asked to call us on 101 quoting the reference number 44240361392.
