A man has been arrested after threatening another man with a knife in Freshwater Bay
It was reported that, between 4pm and 4.30pm on Friday 2 August, a 41-year-old man was threatened by a man with a knife near the long stay car park on Afton Road.
Nobody was physically harmed in this incident.
A 27-year-old male from Freshwater has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and for possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains in custody.
We are aware that there may have been people filming the incident on their phones and would like to speak to anyone with possible evidence.
