Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Liphook

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of burglary and vehicle theft in Liphook.

The incident occurred between 5.30am and 6am on Monday 26 August at an address on Ontario Way.

Entry was forced to the property by breaking a window at the rear of the address.

Car keys were subsequently removed from within and a black BMW X1 was then stolen.

This vehicle was then involved in a collision and abandoned on Haslemere Road.

A 25-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, both from Liphook, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

We’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed the burglary, theft of vehicle or the subsequent collision.
