We’re releasing CCTV footage and appealing for information following an incident in Ryde.
At around 8pm on Wednesday 3 April, a woman in her 50s was followed by a man she did not know, who shouted verbal abuse at her throughout the encounter.
The woman was not hurt but was left very distressed by this incident.
She first encountered this man on Star Street, as he approached from Player Street.
The man is described as:
Officers have been supporting the victim, and have been making enquiries in the area including continuing to scope for CCTV.
As part of enquiries, we would like to identify the man in this CCTV footage. Do you know him, or have you seen him in the area?
We are also keen to hear from anyone with information about the incident. Did you witness anything? Did you see which direction the man travelled in? Do you have any additional information that could assist our investigation?
