Below are some useful crime prevention tips to bear in mind with your vehicle;
• Installing a tracker could help you to quickly recover your vehicle should it ever be stolen.
• Always keep your keys in a safe place, well away from any of your doors or windows. If you have a keyless car, keep the fob in a signal-blocking pouch – Faraday Bag.
• Consider an immobiliser for your vehicle. This will prevent the engine being started, even if the key signal is cloned.
• Park your vehicle in a secure location, whether that be in a garage, gated area, or near CCTV.
• A steering wheel lock is a very useful extra deterrent for potential vehicle thieves.
