We are appealing for witnesses after high value gold jewellery was stolen in a series of burglaries in Winchester.
Since Friday 1 September we have received six reports of burglary that officers investigating believe could be linked.
On 1 September, between 10.45am and 2.30pm, entry was forced to an address on Elder Close through the front door.
Between 5pm on 3 September and 6.30pm on 4 September, there was a further burglary at an address on Shoe Lane.
On 6 September, we received two reports of burglary in the district. One at an address on Priors Dean Road and one on Armsworth Park. Both happened between 8am and 5pm.
We were called on 9 September to reports of a burglary at an address on Bradley Road, which happened between 12 August and 9 September. It was reported that lights were seen on in the house on 6 September.
And finally, we received report of a burglary yesterday (17 September) at an address on Grenadiers Road between 1pm and 4.20pm.
In all of these incidents, high value jewellery items were targeted and stolen. Entry was forced to the properties and searches conducted.
We have conducted a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for any information.
Were you in any of the areas at the time? Perhaps you remember seeing someone act suspiciously near an address? Maybe you have dash-cam or doorbell footage?
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 with reference 44230381394. You can also report online via our website: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
