We are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was the victim of a robbery in Waterlooville.
The incident happened on Milk Lane at around 8pm on Saturday 30 September.
A 17-year-old boy was walking with a friend when they were approached by a group of eight boys, they then threatened him with a knife and demanded his property.
A silver necklace was stolen.
As part of our enquiries, a total of nine people have now been arrested and all have been bailed while we continue our enquiries.
Officers arrested eight 14-year-old boys, seven are from Waterlooville and one from Havant, and a 15-year-old boy, from Denmead.
They were arrested on suspicion of robbery. The 14-year-old boy from Havant was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
They have all been bailed until 29 December pending further enquiries.
Officers investigating would be keen to hear from anyone with information, or CCTV or doorbell footage that may help.
Did you see a group of boys wearing balaclavas in Waterlooville town centre last night? Perhaps you live or have a business between the town centre and Milk Lane with CCTV or dash cam that might help?
