Do you recognise this man? Officers would like to speak with him in connection with an assault in Southsea.
It comes after a man was allegedly approached by an unknown man at the Duke of Devonshire pub on Albert Road at around 11am on 13 August.
The man was then assaulting, causing minor facial injuries.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries in the local area – including engaging with the venue – but we are now asking the public for their support in identifying the man pictured.
We fully appreciate that these are not the clearest pictures, but we are hoping someone may know who he is or recognise him in the local area.
Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Do you remember seeing what happened in the lead up to and during the incident?
Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44230326177.
Alternatively, you can visit the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website and make a report there: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/.
You can also call independent charity, Crimestoppers, to give information 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.
