We are appealing for witnesses, in particular the driver of a passing car, who may have seen a robbery attempt take place in Portchester.
At around 10.30pm last night (Sunday 15 October), two men in their 20s were walking along Castle Street when they were approached by three people – described as teenage males - wearing dark clothes and balaclavas, who made demands for the victims’ possessions.
The victims refused and a struggle ensued during which both victims were punched in the head and face.
One of the victims then attempted to flag down a passing vehicle, but the vehicle did not stop.
The attackers ran off empty handed in the direction of White Hart Lane.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the three individuals with balaclavas in the area or perhaps captured them on CCTV, and in particular would like to hear from the driver of the vehicle that passed by this incident.
Did you see what occurred? Do you have any Dash Cam footage of this incident?
