We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision near Waltham Chase.
Police were called at 8.30pm yesterday (10 October) to a report of a road traffic collision at the junction of Gravel Hill and Forest Road.
This involved a silver Vauxhall Astra and a red Benelli Tornado motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old woman from Havant, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Astra, a 55-year-old man from Wickham, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and drug driving. He has been released on bail until 11 January while enquiries continue.
We are appealing for anyone with information about this collision to come forward to help our investigation.
