We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a robbery in Basingstoke.
At around 12.42pm on Monday 6 November, a man had a phone and keys stolen on the footbridge between Edgehill Close and Buckskin Lane.
Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out enquiries and have arrested and charged a man.
Travine Farrell, 20, of Charnwood Close, Basingstoke, was charged with one count of robbery and one count of possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.
He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 6 December.
However, we are still keen to hear from witnesses as officers are continuing to investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
