We are looking to talk to anyone who witnessed an assault on Lodge Road, Southampton earlier this year, or who recognises the men in the images below.
On Thursday 29 June, it was reported to us that a 29 year-old man was cycling down Lodge Road between 3:50pm-4:05pm, when he was fired at with gel blasters by men in a car that drove past him. When the cyclist caught up to the car at the traffic lights on the junction, three men got out and punched and kicked the man to the ground. When members of the public intervened, the group returned to their car and drove off down Rose Road. They returned five minutes later and fired gel blasters at the cyclist again whilst he was being helped by members of the public. The man suffered a split lip during the assault.
Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out various enquiries and are now appealing to the public for help.
We are keen to talk to anyone who recognises the three men involved, who are described as follows:
Man 1:
Man 2:
Man 3:
