We are appealing for witnesses after an assault and a collision on Stockbridge Road (A3057).
Officers were called just before 5.30pm on Saturday (4 March) to reports of a collision by the Mayfly Pub in Andover.
It was reported that after several unsuccessful attempts to overtake, a red van collided with a grey Hyundai.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 28-year-old man, has then stopped his car and got out. The driver of the red van has then driven at him at hit him with the van - driving a short distance down the road with the victim on the bonnet.
He did not stop at the scene.
The driver of the van is described as being white, in his late 40s, with a slim build. He was bald with a grey well-trimmed beard and wearing a dark coloured outfit with a blue t-shirt.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and are now turning to the public for help in identifying the driver.
Were you driving along Stockbridge Road at the time of the incident? Did you see what happened? Perhaps you have dash cam footage or a vehicle registration for the red van?
