The family of a man who died following a collision on the A326 Marchwood bypass has paid tribute to him.
The incident happened at some time between 6.50pm and 6.55pm on Monday, 6 March and involved a pedestrian and two vehicles; a Volkswagen Transporter and a Suzuki Swift.
The pedestrian, who sadly died at the scene, can now be named as 68-year-old Dr Guy Powell from Salisbury.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Guy's family have paid the following tribute to him: "Guy was a dedicated and loving husband and father. He had an unwavering commitment to helping patients with their mental health issues."
Our officers continue to investigate this incident and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have seen someone waiting to cross the road at the location.
Officers would also like to speak to anyone who may have been passing through the area between 6.45pm and 6.55pm who has a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle.
