We’re appealing for witnesses to a serious assault which occurred in Aldershot.
At around 3pm on Saturday 11 March, the victim was driving along Redan Road when he became involved in an altercation with the driver of a van.
Whilst both drivers were out of their vehicles, the victim was punched to the floor and then further assaulted on the ground, leaving him with fractured ribs and a collapsed lung.
The driver of the van, who was reportedly carrying a hammer during this incident, is described as white, aged in his 40s, around 6ft tall, and with tribal tattoos up the side of his neck.
The van he was driving is described as either graphite grey or metallic burgundy in colour, with a partial registration number of 18 BLK.
We are keen to hear from any witnesses to this incident, particularly the driver of a white Transit van which drove past prior to the suspect leaving the scene.
In addition, we’d like to hear from anyone who perhaps drove through the area at the time or was parked in the area at the time and could have caught this incident on Dash Cam.
