We are appealing for information after a man sustained serious facial injuries in an assault in Alton.
The incident took place sometime between 12.00am and 12.30am on Wednesday 21 June.
It began in High Street, when the victim, a man in his 20s, was involved in a verbal altercation with a man.
The men walked away from each other. The victim then came into contact with the man and a third man in Saxon Mews and was assaulted.
He sustained fractures to his cheekbone, and a fracture to his eye socket, for which he required treatment at hospital.
The two suspects have been described as being aged in their 20s and wearing dark clothing.
Officers are investigating the circumstances of this incident.
