We are looking to locate the victim of an attempted robbery in Portsmouth yesterday afternoon (July 11).
Police were called around 5.15 after three people confronted a cyclist in London Road, opposite the junction for Derby Road.
The incident was reported to us by concerned members of the public, but the cyclist left the area soon after it and officers are looking to locate him as part of out investigation.
It is believed nothing was taken in the attempted robbery, but one of the three people who confronted the cyclist was reported to have a knife.
Since the incident, we have been making enquiries, and now we hope that either the cyclist or someone who knows him will see our appeal and get in touch.
If this is you, you can either make contact with us by calling 101, quoting the reference 44230277085, or by submitting a report online by going to https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
