We are appealing for witnesses following a theft in Southampton.
On Saturday 1 July at approximately 7am, a woman in her 60s was walking along Woodmill Lane towards the bus stop opposite Northfield Road when a cyclist snatched her handbag from her shoulder.
The victim's banks cards, phone and keys were in the bag, as well as a pair of glasses.
The bank cards were then used at several stores including Newsmaster, Portswood Mini-Mart and Farmfoods on Portswood Road.
About £150 was spent between 7am and 8am at these locations.
The cyclist was described as a white male, balding, with a possible ginger beard. He was wearing a hi-vis yellow jacket.
Did anyone see this cyclist at any of the locations above, or witness the incident itself?
A dog walker helped the woman after her bag was stolen and we would like them to come forward as a potential witness.
